# Check feature availability

> Distinguish supported, conditional, preview, experimental, and unconfirmed Podium behavior.

Podium includes stable local features, configuration-dependent paths, and default-off experiments. A route or command in the source does not prove that Podium supports or deploys the feature.

## Supported core

The stable product path covers local and self-hosted agent work:

* Packaged macOS desktop app, including Intel Macs
* Headless Linux on x86\_64 and ARM64
* Local and self-hosted server, daemon, web client, and native harness sessions
* Issues, dependencies, worktrees, state, todos, artifacts, offers, and agent mail
* Multi-machine pairing and placement
* Repository file browsing, editing, upload, and rich previews
* Stable and edge update channels
* Opt-in usage and crash telemetry controls

## Conditional behavior

These features depend on machine or deployment configuration:

| Capability | Condition |
| - | - |
| Remote access | A reachable TLS route or private network |
| Repository cloning | A cloneable Git origin on the repository |
| Harness use | Installed CLI and valid native authentication |
| Harness quota | A supported provider and available plan data |
| OAuth and email flows | Deployment-specific provider and mail configuration |
| Multi-machine placement | Permission, capacity, repository, and harness readiness |

## Preview or unsupported clients

A Linux desktop AppImage is built but remains preview. Windows packaging is experimental and disabled in the default desktop release matrix. The reviewed sources do not confirm native iPhone distribution. The `/mobile` web build exists as an unsupported compatibility path.

## Experimental or default-off behavior

Cloud runtimes, workflows, specs, automations, notifications, queues, shipping, session handoff, and some search or density controls are not baseline stable features. Harness support for handoff, cloud movement, model settings, credential propagation, and state observation is uneven.

## Hosted behavior

The reviewed code includes account creation, sign-in, organizations, invitations, device sessions, hosted workspace routing, and desktop sign-in handoff. The reviewed sources do not confirm production cutover or general availability.

Hosted workspace requests create pending records and still require manual provisioning. Billing, hosted metering, user-configurable retention controls, and a durable public cloud-runtime lifecycle are not implemented product claims in the reviewed version.
